Another Snowy Day

Today was another fun day spent sledding and playing in the snow. Smokey came for a visit this morning and got pretty playful out in the snow with Buzz. This evening, Memaw and Poppa Claus stopped by to watch Wilson and Michael make a few runs on the sled. Memaw decided to get in on the action. This photo was taken right before she wiped out. Look at the fear on her face and on Buzz's face. Priceless!

Snow Day!

Today was our second major snow fall of the season and boy are we loving it. Wilson and Michael love everything about the snow and then some! You have to remember that for the past three years, we have maybe gotten an inch of snow each winter, so this is big stuff for them. As an adult, it is fun to discover the wonder and excitement of snow all over again. In my single, childless days, I would have spent this day curled up on a couch. However, with two four year olds, that isn't even an option. The excitement began at 6:30 AM this morning and hasn't let up much. We have been sledding, thrown snow balls, and made snow angels. It has been a fun day spent with my family and I am blessed for these two little boys who remind me over and over about the simple joys in life! Yeah for snow!!

Okay, Where Was I....

Well, it seems I let a few months slip by without one single update. So, I basically spent the larger majority of the day creating a slide show of some of the highlights from the last two months. Boy has it been busy: Thanksgiving, Christmas tree hunting, Morganton Christmas Parade, Poppa's birthday, a blizzard, sledding, a Simply Green snowman, a new puppy, Christmas, a visit from the Yu's, Kerry turning 40, Alli's birthday, Wilson and Michael turn 4, my 34th birthday and....I think that might be about it. Whew, wears me out just thinking about it all. It was all wonderful though and I wouldn't trade a minute of it. Enjoy
